Coach Wayne

Training Director / Founder
Coach Wayne doesn’t just run drills—he runs a full-on basketball dojo where kids learn to think, decide, and not freeze when a defender breathes on them. Known for ditching traditional static lines in favor of chaos (a.k.a. decision-making), his sessions look more like real games and less like a PE class. With a mix of modern coaching science, dad jokes, and just the right amount of sweat, he’s built a style that turns confused beginners into confident players—and makes you wonder why everyone else is still yelling “follow through” in 2025.

He loves doing the ball screen series where kids make reads based on different defense coverages. Another favorite session is when we work on decision making using reverse pivot.

Coach Arnel

Lead Coach / Media Lead
Coach Arnel wears two hats—and sometimes a camera harness. On the court, he helps guide players through the grind. Off the court, he’s the eye behind the lens, capturing the stories, sweat, and small wins that make Sky what it is. A creative at heart, he’s the guy behind our photos, reels, and soon, full-blown video projects. Whether he’s holding a ball or a camera, he sees the game differently—and makes sure others do too.

Junior Coach
Coach Kk is one of the rising young leaders in Sky Basketball Club, currently serving as Junior Coach for our training Camps and developmental squad. A product of grassroots and competitive basketball himself, his playing background includes stints with top teams in the city and strong court experience in leagues like MCBL, Pilipinas Super League, and Kingpin Cebu. He always brings a fresh perspective and passion to every session—blending player experience with a coach’s mindset with a hunger to grow.
