OUR PROGRAMS
HATCHLING PROGRAM
This stage, designed for children aged 6-10 years old, focuses on FUN while developing fundamental movement skills and building overall motor skills. We recommend the kids to train on 3 to 4 other sports. Early single-sport specialization or excessive training can hinder long-term development.
FLEDGELING PROGRAM
This stage is for kids 10-12 years old and focuses on developing a variety of skills essential for basketball and overall athletic growth. We still recommend the kids to train on 3 to 4 other sports.

YOUNG TALON PROGRAM
This program is for 13–15 year old kids where players are most responsive to skill development and physical training. It’s the ideal time to focus on “building the engine” by taking advantage of the sensitive periods when players can adapt quickly.
DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM
This program is designed to prepare our players for league competition through structured team training. We focus on fundamentals, game strategy, and high-intensity situational drills to develop smart, skilled, and confident athletes ready to compete at the next level.
Long-term development
What’s best for our kid is simple: it’s them learning fundamental skills and participating in activities that align with their stage of development. This approach is known as Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD).
Research shows that early specialization and intense training in basketball at a young age don’t necessarily help players reach their full potential. In fact, focusing too much on early specialization can hinder a child’s overall development, preventing them from becoming the best player they can be in the long run.

Redefining Grassroots Training
At Sky Basketball Club, we believe that grassroots training should go beyond the traditional drills. We are constantly evolving, using research-backed, evidence-based methods to help kids develop skills in the most effective way possible.
Our goal isn’t just to help kids improve how they play basketball—we hold ourselves to the same standard as coaches. We believe that better coaching leads to better players, which is why we are constantly refining our approach, learning, and evolving our methods. By staying informed on the latest research in skill acquisition and player development, we create training programs that align with how kids actually learn—ensuring a more effective, engaging, and growth-focused basketball experience.
But more than that, we believe that basketball is a vehicle for teaching discipline, teamwork, resilience, and confidence—qualities that shape not just better athletes, but better individuals.
We don’t just train players. We develop adaptable athletes with strong character.
