SKY BASKETBALL CLUB

Teaching the game,

Inspiring the Journey.

Teaching basketball is just the beginning. Our goal is to inspire young players to enjoy the game, embrace challenges, and grow through every moment, in sports and in life.

OUR PROGRAMS

HATCHLING PROGRAM

This stage, designed for children aged 6-10 years old, focuses on FUN while developing fundamental movement skills and building overall motor skills. We recommend the kids to train on 3 to 4 other sports. Early single-sport specialization or excessive training can hinder long-term development.

FLEDGELING PROGRAM

This stage is for kids 10-12 years old and focuses on developing a variety of skills essential for basketball and overall athletic growth. We still recommend the kids to train on 3 to 4 other sports.

YOUNG TALON PROGRAM

This program is for 13–15 year old kids where players are most responsive to skill development and physical training. It’s the ideal time to focus on “building the engine” by taking advantage of the sensitive periods when players can adapt quickly.

DEVELOPMENTAL PROGRAM

This program is designed to prepare our players for league competition through structured team training. We focus on fundamentals, game strategy, and high-intensity drills to develop smart, skilled, and confident athletes ready to compete at the next level.

Long-term development

What’s best for our kid is simple: it’s them learning fundamental skills and participating in activities that align with their stage of development. This approach is known as Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD).

Research shows that early specialization and intense training in basketball at a young age don’t necessarily help players reach their full potential. In fact, focusing too much on early specialization can hinder a child’s overall development, preventing them from becoming the best player they can be in the long run.

FAQs

Our programs are open to kids of all skill levels! Whether they’re just starting or preparing for competitive play, we have training designed to match their development stage.

Absolutely! The decision is entirely up to you and your child. Our goal is to help kids build confidence through our program, but at the end of the day, we support whatever is best for them—whether that’s one month of training or exploring other interests.

Unfortunately, we’re unable to transfer your training to another month. To ensure we properly manage our monthly training slots, sessions can’t be moved unless there are special circumstances, such as health-related concerns.

Players should bring a BALL, water, proper sports attire, and most importantly, a great attitude ready to learn and have fun!

Unfortunately, we have a no refund policy, as slots are reserved in advance. However, if there are special circumstances (such as health-related concerns), please reach out to us to discuss possible options.
